The International Federation of Draughts came up with an idea of awarding high-quality lapel pins for their members. Or to the hard-working volunteers who help with organizing different World Championships.
The round images on the pin represent draught pieces. The pin is die struck, silver-plated and oxidized (a technique where the pin is made totally black, and then the higher surfaces cleaned again).
